La mujer sin cabeza

This movie I found very confusing and somewhat disturbing. The scene where she appears to have hit a dog also shows that if you look closely you can see a child’s hand print on the window beyond the main actress’s body. The entire movie revolves around guilt, denial and her repressing the memories of the accident. I found it very disturbing that she has sexualized encounters with not one but two of her own family members! There is also a clear line between men and women and their gender roles that are not found as often in the American life style. The conspiracy and cover-up that is the main portion of the movie is not very surprising for me. Rich families tend to get away with things such as not following the rules that were intended for all not just for the middle class and poor.
