I really enjoyed Ladron que roba a ladron. I thought that it was very interesting and very funny. I didn't think that any of the movie was boring at all. I loved all the planning and work that they put into making the robbery successful. It was a perfect plan.

I can't believe that someone could make a product that is completely bogus and then try to sell it to people. The man who created the "holy water" product to cure people was a terrible person for it. Every person that spent their hard-earned cash on that water to save a loved one was robbed by that man because he was making money off of their pain and suffering. The good robbers were good people, especially the brother of the bad robber. He, as a robber, robbed the bad robber, and he have the money back to the good people who were robbed.

I was happy for the people who got their money back, and I was glad that he bad robber got what he deserved. I was afraid that the good guys were going to get caught with the money, but thanks to the smart thinking of their group members, they outsmarted the bad robber. I think everyone in the movie got what they deserved.

The movie Ladron que roba a ladron was very interesting because it showed the morality involved with who may seem to live an immoral life. When Valdez begins to make the products that do not work and then markets those products to a target population of immigrants who are from similar situations as he was, he crosses a line in the eyes of those people, especially Emilio.

Emilio is also a theif who had worked with Valdez for quite a long time before Valdez began to take from the poor for his own greed, so when Emilio realizes how twisted and selfish Valdez has become, he decides to become a Colombian Robin Hood and take from Valdez to give back to the poor. I think it is very powerful that someone like Emilio, who is supposed to be a corrupt person because of his occupation as a theif, cares so much about the people like him--people who are trying to make a better life for themselves in a new country. Emilio has morals and would only take from those who have too much. This shows the kind of person that Emilio is because he sees the difference in taking from those who have nothing, and those who have everything.

Yet, Valdez is different; when he was younger, he was much like Emilio, after he had immigrated to the USA, he became corrupt with opportunity to make money. So he never helped the man who had gotten him started. The viewer is supposed to see how corrupt Valdez had become and think that Emilio's theft was a justified act, especially because he gave back money to some of the people who had been tricked into thinking that the products that Valdez advertised would work.

It is very sad that Valdez sold an elixir that was supposed to cure any illness, even cancer, and it did not work. The daughter of the man, who Valdez and Emilio had apprenticed, had tried to use this miracle elixir in order to save her father who was dying of cancer because they did not have enough money to provide him with good medical treatment. The elixir obviously did not work, and Valdez's true nature was show to the viewer because the viewer was able to see how cruel Valdez was when he know that his former teacher, whom he used to have a father/son relationship with, was dying, and he didn't even give the family money that he definitely had in order to help his teacher receive the medical care that he needed.

The movie Ladron que roba a ladron was very entertaining film; yet, it had an underlying moral current that the viewer may not have realized because it was so obvious that what Valdez did was wrong and what Emilio did was right, even though stealing is not right. Emilio was the antagonist who may have done bad things by stealing, but he was able to show the viewer that he would never take from those who did not have more than what they needed. Finally, the viewer was also able to see the importance of community within the immigrants because Valdez targeted the Spanish-speaking immigrants with his crooked business, and Emilio and his brother knew how wrong it was to steal from their own people.
